The court ordered officials to expedite the relocation of residents from emergency housing in Pavlov.

      August 1, 2026 14:27 Society The Pavlovsky City Court recognized the decision of the Pavlov administration to postpone the relocation of residents from emergency housing until the end of 2030 as illegal. The court ordered the authorities to complete the relocation of citizens no later than December 31, 2028.

      This concerns the apartment buildings on Cooperative Street (No. 3, 5, 6, 8, 14, 16) and Soviet Street (No. 26). These buildings were officially recognized as emergency and subject to demolition back in late 2021.

      The timelines for relocating residents have repeatedly become the subject of disputes. In May 2024, the court already deemed the initial relocation schedule illegal and ordered the administration to establish more justified timelines.

      After that, in April 2026, the authorities approved a new procedure, according to which the demolition of houses and the relocation of residents were planned only until December 31, 2030. However, the court considered such timelines unacceptable.

      The decision notes that the structures of the houses have significant damage and deformations, and their condition poses a threat to the safety of the residents. According to the court, the prolonged wait for relocation creates an unjustified risk for citizens.

      As a result, the administration's order from April 23, 2026, was recognized as illegal. The authorities were ordered to eliminate the violations and complete the relocation of residents from the specified houses by the end of 2028.

      The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.
