The Transport Prosecutor's Office monitors passenger rights at Nizhny Novgorod airport.

      On August 2, 2026, at 10:55, the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the compliance with the rights of air passengers at Nizhny Novgorod's Chkalov Airport. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory agency.

      It is noted that in Nizhny Novgorod, from approximately 5:00 to 8:00, the airport was receiving and dispatching flights in coordination with the relevant authorities. This is due to temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in the vicinity of the airport. The measures were implemented to ensure flight safety.

      Currently, according to the online display board, the departures of four planes are delayed.

      The flight of the airline "Rossiya" to Yekaterinburg has been postponed for more than a day - it was supposed to depart on August 1 at 9:50. The "Ikara" flight to Kirov has been rescheduled by three hours - from 9:00 to 12:00 on August 2. The RedWings flight to Yerevan will also depart late: it has been moved from 8:25 to 12:35. The departure time for the flight to Sochi has also changed - from 14:55 to 15:35.

      Transport prosecutors at the airport are ensuring that airlines provide passengers with the necessary services in a timely manner. Mobile reception offices have also been organized.
