On August 2, 2026, 11:33 Incidents A lightning strike killed a 62-year-old livestock breeder in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the regional State Labor Inspectorate.
The tragic incident occurred in the Uren district on July 30 in the village of Sodomovo. At the time of the incident, the man was herding a collective farm's livestock.
The ambulance crew that arrived at the scene confirmed the death of the employee of LLC "Niva."
Currently, all causes and circumstances of the incident are being established. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
