"Torpedo" extended the contract with the top scorer Vinogradov.

      Forward Yegor Vinogradov will continue to play for Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo." The club announced the extension of the contract with the 23-year-old homegrown player. The new agreement is valid until May 31, 2028.

      Vinogradov has gone through the entire training system of "Torpedo." He has a winning goal in the "golden match" of the MHL championship, as well as the title of most valuable player of the VHL playoffs.

      In the past season, the forward became the top scorer and sniper of the Nizhny Novgorod team in the KHL. In 77 matches, he scored 59 points (27+32). As a result of the season, Vinogradov also received a call-up to the Russian national team to participate in the Channel One Cup and played in the KHL All-Star Game.

      Torpedo's general director Evgeny Zabuga noted that Vinogradov is one of the best products of Nizhny Novgorod hockey in the last decade. According to him, the forward fully justified the trust, demonstrated serious progress, and deserved a new agreement with the club.

      "We are confident that he is capable of becoming a leader of 'Torpedo' for many years," said Zabuga.

      Recently, it became known about the departure of former captain Alexey Kruchinin from "Torpedo."
