      The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court sentenced a resident of the Kaliningrad region. He was found guilty of murdering two people with particular cruelty. This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The court established that in August of last year, the man, while in an apartment on Raevsky Street, inflicted at least 13 knife wounds on the landlady, with whom he rented a room, and at least 6 blows with a metal mop and punches, and at least 8 knife wounds on her husband. The man and woman died on the spot. The next day, the perpetrator returned, severed the heads of the deceased, and hid them on the roofs of the garage complex on Raevsky Street. Three days later, the perpetrator was detained by criminal investigation officers. The court sentenced him to 18 years in a strict regime colony with a two-year restriction of freedom. The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region clarified that the native of the Kaliningrad region is 42 years old.
