      A series of outreach preventive measures against terrorism, extremism, and neo-Nazism took place at the student sports and health camps "Zarya" of NNSU and "Zhdanovets" of NGTU, located on the banks of the Gorky Reservoir. More than 600 students from Nizhny Novgorod universities participated, reported the office of the Anti-Terrorism Commission in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Students interacted with the director of the regional Coordination Center Oleg Pikunov, Anti-Terrorism Commission staff member Natalia Bolshakova, and the head of the local government of the Gorodets district Alexander Mudrov.

      Experts informed the youth about criminal liability for terrorist-related crimes, explained how recruiters operate to involve young people in illegal activities, and provided recommendations on how not to fall for their tricks. Additionally, participants were reminded of the ban on publishing information about the consequences of drone attacks and discussed issues of interethnic and interfaith harmony. One of the key parts of the program was an open dialogue between students and government representatives. The event concluded with the participation of regional Anti-Terrorism Commission staff in the inter-university sports festival "Poberezhye," which took place at the "Zhdanovets" camp with teams from NGTU, NGPU, and NNGASU.
