The Mingazetdinov-Demidov Dynasty: a century of love for the Avtozavodskaya Thermal Power Plant across three generations

But behind the concrete walls and giant turbines lies the main wealth of the enterprise — its people. The archives of the CHPP carefully preserve the stories of employees, which together form the larger story of domestic energy. The history of the Mingazetdinov-Demidov dynasty is a true production saga. After finishing the eleventh grade, in the 1960s, young Lina Mikhailovna went to the city of Gorky. That year, key facilities of the second stage began to be built at the Avtozavodskaya CHPP, which significantly increased the production of electricity and heat for the city's residents. The team was in dire need of workers. The girl got a job as an insulator. Among the fiberglass and construction scaffolding, her labor biography began, which drastically changed her personal life in just a few days. Lina Mikhailovna met turbine shop worker Alexander Reynovich, and a week later they submitted an application to the registry office. Lina Mikhailovna dedicated almost 40 years to her native CHPP, working as a painter-plasterer, and then as a calibrator of measuring instruments in the thermal automation shop. At her suggestion, her son Vladimir came to work at the CHPP with his wife Lyudmila. "I saw photographs of family dynasties on the walls of the station, I observed every day how parents went to work with their children, how they cared for each other here. The Avtozavodskaya CHPP immediately became a big family for me," recalls Lyudmila. Each of the ten cranes at the enterprise is like a living being to her: each has its own character, its own "temperament," and each requires a special approach. "You have to feel the crane," she smiles, skillfully handling the levers. "Some are fast, some are slow; you need to work with each one very carefully." Her husband Vladimir Alexandrovich worked at the CHPP as a mechanic in the turbine shop. The love for the enterprise among the Mingazetdinovs-Demidovs is passed down as a family relic. Lyudmila and Vladimir's daughter — Ella Vladimirovna Demidova and her husband Oleg Eduardovich also became part of the large energy family. Working in the trading business, Ella realized that stability and confidence in the future were needed. She heeded her parents' advice and came to the Avtozavodskaya CHPP as a senior warehouse manager at the central warehouse. Her husband works as a mechanic in the chemical shop. In recent years, thanks to the continuous modernization program, the Avtozavodskaya CHPP has transformed, and the Mingazetdinovs-Demidovs, who remember the difficult 90s, feel this positive dynamic especially acutely. "It was difficult in the 90s, but we held on because we believed in the enterprise. And now the conditions are incomparable; everything has changed for the better!" — says Lyudmila with pride. "Repairs have been carried out, the territory has been improved. A separate topic is labor protection and personal protective equipment. We are provided with modern and comfortable workwear; everything is in abundance; we lack nothing. Buses transport employees from the checkpoints. There are large changing rooms and showers. The management really cares about the people." A photograph of Lyudmila Nikolaevna has taken its place on the enterprise's Honor Board and in the "Gallery of Professionals." She participates in competitions among colleagues, flies to exchange experiences at En+ enterprises in Irkutsk, proving that age is no barrier to development and new heights. "This is a worthy job. Here you are loved and respected," advises Lyudmila Nikolaevna to young female employees. "It is very easy to feel like a woman while managing such a powerful mechanism because the male specialists are always ready to help and explain, and we, in turn, will suggest to them from above how to better hook the load." The Mingazetdinov-Demidov family, whose total work experience is 122 years, is a vivid proof that professional dynasties are formed by the sincere love of employees for their work, as well as the respect and care of the employer. "Many families with unique stories work at the Avtozavodskaya CHPP. Their many years of labor, loyalty to professional traditions, and willingness to pass on accumulated experience to young specialists inspire colleagues and serve as an example of how family values and high responsibility help achieve outstanding results for the benefit of the Avtozavodskaya CHPP and the residents of Nizhny Novgorod," noted the general director of "En+ Teplo Volga," Mikhail Efimov.
