The number of real estate transactions has increased in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      July 21, 2026 12:50 Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod region, activity in the residential real estate market has increased. The data was provided by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" at the regional office of Rosreestr. In the first half of 2026, 4,170 participation agreements in shared construction were concluded, an increase of 15.4% compared to the same period in 2025 (3,613). Of these, 767 agreements were registered in June, which is 14% more than last year. There has also been a noticeable increase in the number of property rights formalized for housing through purchase and exchange agreements. In June, their number reached 5,675, which is 51% more than a year earlier (3,766). From January to June, the figure reached 28,322, which is 24.1% higher than last year's result (22,824). In Nizhny Novgorod, the highest number of transactions in the secondary market for the half-year was recorded in the Avtozavodsky district - 1,947. Next are the Soviet district - 1,336, Kanavinsky - 1,121, Sormovsky - 1,030, Moskovsky - 958, Nizhny Novgorodsky - 891, Leninsky - 854, and Prioksky - 741. It should be noted that last year there was a recorded decrease in the number of purchase and exchange transactions for housing by 22%.
