185 Nizhny Novgorod graduates did not score the minimum points on the Unified State Exam (EGE).

      On July 21, 2026, at 14:16, Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 185 graduates were unable to meet the minimum threshold based on their Unified State Exam (USE) results. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the regional education ministry.

      Students who failed to score the required number of points in mandatory subjects will be able to retake the exams in September 2026. Retaking elective subjects will be available in 2027.

      This year, to obtain a diploma, graduates needed to score the minimum set by Rosobrnadzor. A minimum of 24 points is required in the Russian language, and 27 points in profile mathematics. Basic mathematics is graded on a five-point scale, so it is sufficient to receive a score of no lower than "three."

      For elective subjects, the minimum results are: 36 points in physics, chemistry, and biology; 40 points in computer science; 32 points in history and literature; 37 points in geography; 42 points in social studies; and 22 points in foreign languages.

      It was previously reported that in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the number of graduates who scored "a hundred" in at least one subject increased by more than 60% based on the results of the USE-2026. A maximum score was achieved by 226 individuals.
