The moment of the train colliding with the truck in the Borsk district was captured on video.

      On July 17, 2026, at 18:25, Incidents A video of the moment of the accident involving a truck and a train, which occurred at a railway crossing in the Bor district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, has emerged. Footage from the scene was published on the MAX channel "RT in Russian."

      Recall that the accident occurred on the night of July 17 near the Kalikino station. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. The locomotive and the tractor being transported on the trailer were damaged.

      Due to the accident, seven passenger trains were delayed. Currently, traffic on this section of the railway has been restored.

      The recording shows how the heavy truck enters the railway tracks while the barrier is closed. The crossing operator attempts to raise it, but the truck does not manage to leave the tracks in time, and the train strikes the tractor that was being transported on the truck's trailer.

      The circumstances and causes of the accident are being established. The Nizhny Novgorod transport prosecutor's office has begun an inspection of compliance with the requirements of legislation on the safety of railway transport. If there are grounds, the agency will take prosecutorial response measures.
