A large pipeline system production facility will be established in Dzerzhinsk.
On July 17, 2026, at 18:45, in the special economic zone "Kulibin" in Dzerzhinsk, the construction of a new production facility by LLC "NPP 'Modern Pipeline Systems'" has begun. The project was launched during a ceremony for the laying of a time capsule, which was attended by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.
The enterprise will produce pipeline systems and components for projects in the nuclear industry, fuel and energy complex, and oil and gas sector. Once it reaches its design capacity, the plant will be able to produce about 3,500 tons of products per year.
As noted by Gleb Nikitin, the total investment volume, taking into account all stages of project implementation, a joint project with the company "Atommashtdetail," and operational expenses will exceed 9 billion rubles. According to him, the launch of new productions will create nearly 800 jobs.
Deputy head of the region, Yegor Polyakov, reported that the enterprise will be a full-cycle production—from the development of design documentation to the shipment of finished products to the customer. Many stages of production are planned to be automated. It is expected that over ten years, tax revenues to the regional and local budgets will exceed 2 billion rubles.
Mikhail Pervyshin, General Director of LLC "NPP 'Modern Pipeline Systems'," stated that the company considered several sites for the project, including abroad, but the choice was made in favor of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The decisive factor was the favorable investment climate created in the region. He also noted that localizing the production of pipelines and components will increase the reliability of supplies and reduce the timeframes for implementing projects for the construction of nuclear power plants.
The enterprise is planned to be put into operation in 2028.
Improving the investment climate is one of the tasks of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," initiated by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
