      In the Kstovo district, 539 apartment buildings have undergone flushing and pressure testing of heating systems. The preparation of the housing stock for the upcoming heating season is being monitored by specialists from the State Housing Inspection of the Nizhny Novgorod region. In total, 1,157 apartment buildings in Nizhny Novgorod are to be prepared for the heating season, of which 1,027 are connected to central heating. Every day, management organizations carry out work according to the approved schedule. Preparation for the new heating season began immediately after the end of the previous season and will continue until September 15. Specialists from the Kstovo department of the State Housing Inspection conduct selective checks of the preparation of buildings. "Currently, active preparation of buildings for the new heating season is ongoing in the Kstovo district. Management and servicing organizations are conducting flushing, pressure testing, and hydraulic adjustment of heating systems. These works are mandatory, and failure to perform them is a serious violation of licensing requirements—in this case, management companies face fines of up to 350,000 rubles. In addition, housing management organizations check and clean chimney and ventilation systems as necessary, carry out repair work, and eliminate defects and malfunctions in window and door openings. Leaks from engineering equipment, heating, and hot water supply pipes are also unacceptable. Reliable thermal insulation must be installed everywhere. All these measures are taken to prevent accidents so that residents do not freeze in their apartments during winter," explained Dmitry Vizhukhov, head of the Kstovo department of the State Housing Inspection.
