Ten hockey players from the "Torpedo" system will begin preseason training at "Dizel."

      The partner club "Torpedo" - Penza's "Diesel" - has announced the roster for the preseason training camp. Preparation for the new season will begin with 10 hockey players from the Nizhny Novgorod club's system joining the team.

      The following players have been sent to Penza: goalkeeper Dmitry Dagestansky, defenders Alexander Dryagilev, Yegor Nikitin, Alexander Pelevin, and Alexander Yatsenko, as well as forwards Ruslan Gazizov, Artyom Misnikov, Timur Mukhanov, Kirill Svishchev, and Matvey Utkin.

      A total of 36 players will participate in "Diesel's" preseason camp - 4 goalkeepers, 12 defenders, and 20 forwards.

      The team will gather on July 15, after which the hockey players will undergo a thorough medical examination and begin the training process.

      The first test matches for the Penza club will take place on August 6 and 7 away against teams from Ryazan and Tambov. Then "Diesel" will play at home against the Tambov team on August 16 and against Saratov's "Crystal" on August 18. The preparation will conclude with participation in the Diesel Cup, which will be held from August 26 to 28.

      "Torpedo" itself will come out of vacation on August 1. On August 5, the Nizhny Novgorod team will head to the preseason camp.

      In August, Alexey Isakov's team will play three test matches - against Moscow's "Dynamo," Yaroslavl's "Lokomotiv," and the capital's "Spartak." The team will then compete in the Moscow Mayor's Cup, and on September 5, they will start the new KHL season with an away match against "Spartak."

      It was previously reported that forwards Gleb Chesnokov and Makar Opolinsky will remain in the "Torpedo" system but will play the 2026/2027 season in "Diesel" under VHL contracts. Their two-way contracts were terminated due to the specifics of the registration process.

      At the same time, the Nizhny Novgorod team will continue to monitor their development and retain the right to return the players under two-way agreements until January 25, 2027.
