Families of participants in the SVO attended the equestrian show "Dzhigitovka for SVOs."

On July 13, 2026, at 16:01, Society. On July 11, the guests of the equestrian club "Stanitsa Volnaya" were the families of participants in the special military operation. A "Dzhigitovka for SVOikh" with a spectacular equestrian show was organized especially for them. "We work with SVO participants and their families within the framework of the unified ecosystem 'SVOy sport' and implement several projects. One of them is 'The Strength of Sport for SVOikh.' The equestrian club 'Stanitsa Volnaya' actively participates in this project, regularly holding events for the families of SVO fighters, and their children train for free in equestrian sports sections. I thank the club for organizing work with our heroes and their families!" noted the Minister of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Dmitry Kabailo.

The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the project office of the Center for Management and Development of Sports in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, and the Coordination Center for Supporting Military Personnel, Mobilized and Their Families of the Nizhny Novgorod House of National Unity.

"Dzhigitovka is not just a spectacular sport, but also an opportunity for our veterans and their families to feel the strength of spirit and skill. It is important for them to see that life goes on, that there is room for beauty and new experiences. Such events help to distract, recharge emotions. At the end of the master class, those interested were able to sign up for free dzhigitovka classes and continue their journey with equestrian sports as athletes who can perform equestrian tricks at a professional level," said the head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, Ekaterina Generalova.

"Our center is constantly working to provide comprehensive assistance to the families of fighters. We strive not only to help with legal and everyday issues. It is important for us that they can distract from worries, spend time together in an interesting way, recharge with good mood, and learn something new. The next trip to the equestrian club 'Stanitsa Volnaya' is an opportunity to immerse themselves in the amazing culture of Cossacks. For centuries, the history of Russian Cossacks has been inextricably linked to service to the Motherland. Now, our SVO heroes stand bravely on the defense of the country. The resilience, faith, and patience of their loved ones become a reliable support for the guys on the front line. Our task is to surround each fighter's family with care and support, creating a strong rear," noted Tatiana Druzhinina, Deputy General Director of the House of National Unity and head of the Coordination Center for Supporting Military Personnel and Their Families.

The equestrian club "Stanitsa Volnaya" is recruiting children for the dzhigitovka team. In classes, the kids learn the basics of horseback riding and elements of dzhigitovka, developing agility, coordination, discipline, and self-confidence under the guidance of experienced trainers. The team participates in film shoots and demonstration performances across the country, opening up new opportunities and bright impressions for the students. Classes are held for free. The number of places is limited. Recruitment starts at age 10. For detailed information, call: +7 904 914 04 40.
