Almost 250 million rubles have been allocated for the improvement of the square near the Holy Gates in Diveevo.

      July 13, 2026 16:00 Culture and Recreation 248.5 million rubles have been allocated for the improvement of the central square at the Holy Gates in Diveevo. This is reported on the state procurement website. The customer is the MBU "Improvement". Applications from participants are accepted until July 27, with the results planned to be announced on July 30. Funding is provided from the federal, regional, and budget of the Diveevo municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The work must be completed from the moment the contract is signed until December 30, 2027. The improvement will affect the area near the under-construction Holy Gates - the future main entrance to the Serafimo-Diveevo Monastery. Recall that construction began in October 2025. It was reported that the Holy Gates with the chapel in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God and the bell tower will form a single architectural line with the Kazan Cathedral. The structure will be topped with eight domes and eight small heads, grouped around the side drums. The area of the building will be 180 square meters, and its height, including the cross, will reach 58 meters. The height of the arched passage is planned to be 2.8 meters. The second tier will house the temple space. Earlier, it was reported that the restoration of the bell tower of the Smolensk Cathedral in Vyyezd was estimated at 92 million rubles.
