The Kanavinsky Bridge in Nizhny Novgorod is awaiting its first reconstruction in half a century.

The timelines for the work and the amount of funding will be determined after the completion of the pre-design stage. The department added that the Kanavinsky Bridge was put into operation in 1933. The last reconstruction of the facility took place in 1971. It is worth noting that in 2025, repair work was carried out on the crossing. In particular, the parapet fence of the roadway was brought to regulatory condition, electrical cables were relaid, asphalt was replaced, and other work was done.
