      On July 12, the Dzerzhinsk FC "Khimik" won a home match against "Akron-2" from Tolyatti with a score of 2:0. This was reported on his MAX channel by the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, president of FC "Khimik" Evgeny Lyulin.

      "From the first minutes, both teams focused on attack - the game was practically played without a midfield. 'Akron-2' looked very active, worked quickly with the ball, and regularly sought ways to our goal. Our goalkeeper saved us several times, not allowing the opponent to score. But 'Khimik' needed time to find their game," Evgeny Lyulin said.

      "At the 37th minute, after an attack down the flank, team captain Artem Shirokov accurately finished off a pass and put our team ahead. It was a classic captain's goal at the right moment. After the break, the pace did not drop. 'Khimik' continued to look for a second goal, while 'Akron-2' was not going to accept defeat. Both teams continued to play openly, so dangerous moments arose at both goals," noted the speaker of the regional parliament.

      "At the 68th minute, the guests committed a foul in their penalty area, and Nikita Abramushkin confidently converted the penalty, doubling 'Khimik's' advantage. Of course, it was unpleasant that our captain Artem Shirokov was sent off at the end. But fortunately, this did not affect the final result - the guys showed character and held on to the winning score," wrote the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      "This victory allows 'Khimik' to go on a two-week summer break as the sole leader of the tournament table. The gap from the nearest pursuer is already six points, but an important part of the season is still ahead. Our next match will be on July 26 away against 'Dynamo-Barnaul'. I am confident that after a short break, the team will continue to fight for the main goal of the season," concluded Evgeny Lyulin.
