The commission has put into operation the repaired roads to the villages of Klyuchishi and Chistoe Pole.

      On July 10, 2026, at 17:54, Society In the Shatkovsky municipal district, the repair of two roads leading to the villages of Klyuchishchi and Chistoe Pole has been completed. Both projects have been accepted by the state commission. The work was carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." This was reported by the Main Directorate of Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      On the section of the road to the village of Klyuchishchi, which is 1.5 km long, specialists carried out a full range of work: cleared the area of shrubs and vegetation, laid two layers of asphalt concrete mix, strengthened the shoulders with gravel, and installed new road signs. For the residents of the village, where more than 60 people live and about 50 summer residents, this is of great importance. There is a school and social facilities located here. School buses, ambulances, and fire trucks travel this route daily. The contract price is 28.8 million rubles.

      Another new road is the access road to the village of Chistoe Pole. The length of the repaired section is more than 2 km. The cost of the work amounted to 37.5 million rubles.

      Both roads connect to the intermunicipal highway Shatki - Lesogorsk - Bolshoy Makately, which was completely repaired in 2022 and is under warranty. In total, there are 9 settlements along it. Roads to two of them - Poletayevka and Yelkhovka - were repaired last year, and the road to Korino is planned for next year.

      "Quality access roads to villages ensure the safety of children going to school, accessibility of medical assistance for residents, and opportunities for the development of rural areas. We continue systematic work to improve roads to social facilities as part of the national project," noted the acting director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "GUAD," Alexander Denisov.

      Let us remind you that since 2019, thanks to the national project "Infrastructure for Life" (until 2025 - "Safe and Quality Roads"), more than 6,600 km of roads have been repaired in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and about 140 km of regional highways have been built and reconstructed. Only in 2025, 761 km of the road network has been brought up to standard against a plan of 626 km.

      The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, with the aim of providing citizens with modern infrastructure. The national project consists of 12 federal projects, which are partly a continuation of previously existing national projects "Safe Quality Roads," "Housing and Urban Environment," and state programs of the Russian Federation. They are aimed at the development of road construction, housing and communal services, ensuring road safety, and developing public passenger transport.
