The cafe on Alekseevskaya was closed for 70 days after guests were poisoned.
On July 8, 2026, at 16:37, the Nizhny Novgorod District Court made a decision to temporarily close the public catering establishment "Mola mola," located at 6/16 Alexeyevskaya Street. The basis for this decision was the materials from the inspection by the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
Recall that earlier, after breakfast at this establishment, five adults and one child sought medical assistance with complaints of deteriorating health. The boy was hospitalized in an infectious disease hospital. Preliminary reports indicated salmonella infection. The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for providing services that do not meet safety requirements. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to report on the progress of the investigation and established facts. This followed urgent reports from medical institutions about cases of infectious diseases.
Rospotrebnadzor reminded that after reports from medical institutions about cases of infectious diseases, a sanitary-epidemiological investigation was initiated, and the café's operations were temporarily halted.
Specialists identified a number of violations of sanitary legislation, including the requirements of SanPiN 2.3/2.4.3590-20 "Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for the Organization of Public Catering for the Population."
It was established that the layout and size of the production premises did not ensure the sequence of technological processes and the exclusion of cross-flows of raw materials and finished products, used and clean dishes, as well as the crossing of visitor and staff movements.
In addition, the establishment lacked disinfectants, and tableware was washed in a tub intended for kitchen utensils.
A Rospotrebnadzor employee imposed a temporary ban on activities and drew up a protocol under Article 6.6 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The materials were sent to court. The court found the entrepreneur guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a penalty in the form of a suspension of the café's activities for a period of 70 days. The ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
It was previously reported that Bastrykin requested a report on the case of the poisoning of children at eco-camps near Perevoz. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
