The final module of the program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" has started.

      On July 7, 2026, at 14:32, Society In the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the fourth and final module of the educational program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" has begun. It is dedicated to modern management technologies.

      As noted by the Minister of Human Resources Policy of the regional government, Roman Markov, one of the key tasks of the program is to strengthen the human resources potential of the region. According to him, participants have the opportunity to apply their leadership experience in civilian life and replenish the managerial personnel reserve of the region.

      "The final module is ahead, which is more practice-oriented than others, to prepare program participants for effective work in the interests of the region's residents," the minister emphasized.

      During the final stage of training, participants will study the basics of digital literacy and the application of artificial intelligence in public administration, master self-presentation and crisis communication skills, and learn to use the results of sociological research in management activities.

      In addition, they will continue working on team projects dedicated to patriotic education of youth, social adaptation of participants in the special military operation, combating cyber fraud, waste export control, and other relevant areas.

      The rector of the KUPNO, Ivan Kalmykov, noted that the final module combines the most in-demand competencies of a modern leader. Special attention is paid to the practical part: at the end, participants will present their own projects aimed at solving real regional problems to an expert commission.

      A program participant, veteran of the special military operation Vladimir Petrukhov, stated that the training combines theory and practice, and getting acquainted with management processes "on the ground" helps to immerse oneself deeper into future work.

      The "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" program aims to integrate and employ participants and veterans of the special military operation into the system of public administration and regional enterprises.

      In March 2025, the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, KUPNO, and RANEPA signed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the program. Following the selection and in-person interviews, 60 participants of the main educational stream were identified, along with another 30 individuals who will undergo training after returning to the region.

      The official start of training under the program took place on August 4, 2025, with the participation of the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.
