      July 3, 2026 11:15 Society Writer Zakhar Prilepin is considering a proposal for cooperation with St. Petersburg Mining University. The writer and public figure shared this in an interview with TASS. He noted that the attention from the university is important to him and expressed hope that joint work will take place. According to him, the Mining Institute is considering his candidacy as one of the specialists in the humanitarian field, rather than as a vice-rector, as previously reported by some media. The writer also stated that he does not plan to return to politics in the near future. He is currently focused on other projects and continues his literary activities. It is worth noting that at the end of May, at the Book Fair in St. Petersburg, the writer mentioned that he plans to visit the city on the Neva more often due to possible work.
