The average salary in the Nizhny Novgorod region exceeded 83,000 rubles.

      July 3, 2026 10:09 Society The average accrued salary of employees in organizations in the Nizhny Novgorod region for January-April 2026 amounted to 83,943 rubles. This is 11% more than for the same period last year. Information on the socio-economic situation in Russia, including wage indicators in the regions, was published by Rosstat. According to statistics, in April 2026, the average monthly salary in the region reached 88,880 rubles. Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by 12.3%. In terms of wage levels, the Nizhny Novgorod region occupies average positions among the regions of the Volga Federal District. Higher figures were recorded in Tatarstan - 95,440 rubles, Perm Krai - 86,916 rubles, and Udmurtia - 84,290 rubles.
