      On July 2, 2026, at 19:47, Society reported that illegal logging was detected during scheduled monitoring using a drone in the Sharangsky forestry. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The volume of illegally harvested timber amounted to 0.42 cubic meters. The damage caused to the forest fund exceeded 20,000 rubles. Materials regarding the violation have been sent to law enforcement agencies.
