Vandals are destroying the well-maintained park in Kstovo.

      On July 1, 2026, at 12:43 PM, Society In Kstovo, cases of vandalism have been recorded in the Kotovsky Park. The head of the district, Ivan Ulanov, reported the incident on his page on "VKontakte." He reminded that the park in the old part of the city had previously been comprehensively improved as part of the federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" and the initiative budgeting "It's Up to You!" New pedestrian paths, modern children's and sports playgrounds, areas for mass events and relaxation have appeared, street lighting supports and illuminated pergolas have been installed. According to Ulanov, the updated area attracts residents from different districts of Kstovo every day—people come here to walk and spend time with their families.

      "And that is why it is especially upsetting to see what is happening now. Local residents can hardly keep up with the damage: new destruction appears every day," he wrote.

      Unknown individuals are breaking swings, damaging stage elements and benches, as well as damaging lighting and decorative illumination. As the head of the district noted, teenagers are often involved in the destruction. Ivan Ulanov urged parents to talk to their children about the unacceptability of such behavior. Behind every object lies the hard work of many people and budget funds that could have been directed towards the further development of the city. The head of the district promised that the administration would make every effort to restore the damaged objects. An appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Kstovsky" has already been prepared.
