Nizhny Novgorod residents were shown what the new kindergarten on Kazansky Highway will look like.

      On June 30, 2026, at 18:44, the Society of Mинград in the Nizhny Novgorod region approved the architectural and urban planning appearance of a kindergarten for 150 children on Kazan Highway at the end of June. The corresponding order has been posted on the ministry's website.

      The preschool institution will be located on a plot of 5,300 square meters next to the NGTU building. There will also be sports and playgrounds for children of different ages in this area.

      Recall that in December of last year, the project received a negative conclusion from the state expertise, but was approved in April during a repeat procedure. The customer is the State Budgetary Institution of Nizhny Novgorod "Nizhny Novgorod Construction Customer."

      It was previously reported that the construction of the kindergarten is provided for in the planning documentation for the area around Kazan Highway. A school for 270 students was also planned to be built nearby, but this idea had to be abandoned as a new building for School No. 103 for 500 students began construction in Verkhnie Pechery.
