An illegal dump was discovered on the lands of a collective farm in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      June 30, 2026 19:03 Society The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republics of Mari El and Mordovia issued a directive to the agricultural production cooperative "Maidansky" in the Pilninsky District. This was reported by the press service of the agency. Violations of land legislation were identified during monitoring of land conditions, specifically on a plot of agricultural land exceeding 89 hectares. Inspectors found that a solid waste dump was located on an area of 300 square meters. Among the discovered garbage were construction waste, old furniture, broken bricks, pieces of slate, tin cans, and plastic bottles. Additionally, on an area of nearly 20.9 hectares, there was overgrowth of weeds, including common charlock, tansy, sow thistle, couch grass, and bitter wormwood. The specified area has not been brought into agricultural circulation and is not being used for its intended purpose. The owner of the collective farm has been instructed to eliminate the dump by December 9, 2026, carry out cultural, technical, agronomic, and phytosanitary measures to clean the land and protect it from overgrowth, as well as to bring the violated plots into agricultural circulation in accordance with the type of permitted use.
