      In Nizhny Novgorod, an investor has been determined for the V. M. Rukavishnikov house on Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street. The results of the auction were reported by the deputy governor of the region, Yegor Polyakov. The cultural heritage site was put up for auction in the spring of 2026 by the KP NO "Regnedvizhimost." The winner of the competition was LLC "Oksky Technopark," which acquired the building for the initial price of 69.09 million rubles. According to the conditions, the new owner is obliged to carry out preservation and restoration work on the house within three years from the date of approval of the preservation obligation. In the future, the building may be adapted for a cultural and community center or a restaurant. The house was built in 1888 as part of the urban estate of the wealthy merchant Rukavishnikov. The architectural appearance is executed in the style of late eclecticism with elements of Art Nouveau, and the facade is decorated with characteristic decorative details from the late 19th century. The building is also known to the townspeople as one of the filming locations for Alexei Balabanov's film "Zhmurki." Partial restoration of the site has already been carried out in 2021-2023. It was previously reported that the Maklakov House in Pavlovo was sold for 10.9 million rubles.
