      In Kstovo, the first inter-municipal department of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Fund has started its work. The new office was opened by the first deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Andrey Gneushev. He noted that the establishment of the department in Kstovo marks the beginning of significant work – gradually, six such offices will appear in the region – in Arzamas, Dzerzhinsk, Vyksa, Gorodets, and Uren. "Now veterans of the special military operation and their family members will be able to receive comprehensive assistance without traveling to the regional center. Of course, Kstovo is also part of Nizhny Novgorod, but this office will serve nine neighboring municipalities, where it is objectively more convenient for residents to come here. Our priority task is to help everyone returning to peaceful life and to surround the close ones of the participants of the special military operation with care. Thanks to the phased opening of inter-municipal offices, we will be able to provide support measures to a larger number of people. We are doing everything we can to bring Victory closer on the front line and must be ready to meet our fighters at home with dignity, so that everyone is surrounded by attention and care and receives all necessary assistance on time," said Andrey Gneushev.

      The opening of the department based at the "Russia Works" personnel center is the result of close cooperation between the regional branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Fund and the Ministry of Demography and Human Capital Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The main goal of the new space is to make state support measures as accessible and understandable as possible for all participants of the special military operation and their families. "The opening of the department of the 'Defenders of the Fatherland' Fund in Kstovo is an important step within our strategy to ensure the availability of the Fund's services in every municipality of the region. We strive for every veteran and every family facing difficulties to receive prompt and qualified assistance close to home. Our social coordinators in Kstovo are reliable helpers and mentors for people who need support and attention now more than ever," emphasized the head of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Fund branch in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Ekaterina Generalova.

      In the new department, social coordinators will conduct personal receptions of citizens. Specialists will assist with document processing, obtaining all necessary social support measures, and will provide full social support in resolving emerging issues. In addition, the premises are equipped with a special area for DNA testing, as well as places for receiving a psychologist and a lawyer.

      The new premises are equipped with everything necessary for comfortable work. Conditions have been created for conducting individual consultations on various topics – from psychological assistance to career consultations. "It is fundamentally important for us to build a seamless support system for participants of the special military operation and their families. The opening of the new department of the 'Defenders of the Fatherland' Fund allows us to address issues comprehensively. The more accessible our services are within walking distance from home, the faster people will be able to receive all the necessary support – legal, psychological, and social," noted the Minister of Demography and Human Capital Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Igor Pantyukhin.
