      On June 27, 2026, at 16:45, Incidents: Two people died in an accident in the Bogorodsky municipal district. This was reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The fatal accident occurred on June 27 at 13:22 on the 431st kilometer of the Riazhsk - Kasimov - Murom - Nizhny Novgorod highway. According to preliminary data, a 27-year-old citizen of the Republic of Armenia, driving a Shacman truck, ignored the "No Overtaking" sign and entered the oncoming lane. At that moment, a collision occurred with a Kia Sportage vehicle. The 52-year-old driver and a female passenger in the car died at the scene. The truck driver sustained bodily injuries. The circumstances of the incident are being established. An investigative operational group is working at the accident site.
