Yuri Shalabaev spoke about the assistance that fire victims receive in Samochkina.

      On June 27, 2026, at 13:01 Society Mayor Yuri Shalabaev commented on the situation regarding the fire in the area of Snezhnaia and Samochkina streets in the Leninsky district, where three houses burned down in the morning.

      Recall that the report of the fire came in around 06:00. The fire engulfed two partially residential and one non-residential building.

      According to the city head, one of the residential buildings was deemed emergency and was in the process of being evacuated.

      "The first and foremost: none of the residents were harmed. The administration staff of the Leninsky district immediately began working with them," noted Yuri Shalabaev.

      The city head added that most of the fire victims went to stay with relatives. Two families were accommodated in temporary housing. As the mayor pointed out, communication is being maintained with everyone, and further assistance will be organized.

      According to preliminary information, residents of several apartments lost their documents in the fire. The administration of the Leninsky district will address this issue.

      Yuri Shalabaev also instructed to contact law enforcement agencies to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
