      June 26, 2026 10:54 Society Two boiler houses in Zavolzhye are at risk of being disconnected from gas supply due to millions in debts. If this happens, some residents will be left without hot water, and preparations for the heating season may be jeopardized, the administration of the Gorodets district reported. According to local authorities, the municipal enterprise "Teplovodokanal" received an official notification from PJSC "Gazprom" about the cessation of gas supply to two key thermal facilities. The reason for the harsh measures is a significant debt exceeding 100 million rubles. The main part of this amount consists of unpaid bills from the population. Despite prolonged efforts to work with non-payers, including the involvement of bailiffs, it has not been possible to recover the debts. The administration emphasized that the disconnection of the boiler houses will lead to a lack of hot water supply for some residents of Zavolzhye. Additionally, the heating season throughout the entire city may be at risk. Currently, the administration of the Gorodets district has engaged in resolving the situation. Negotiations are underway. Residents with outstanding utility bills have been urged to settle them as soon as possible. Earlier, it was reported that the village of Soloveyka in the Nizhny Novgorod region may be included in the composition of Arzamas for the purpose of gasification.
