A Nizhny Novgorod woman was punished after her son’s night walk in Shakhunya.

      On June 26, 2026, at 07:07, Incidents In Shakhunya, PPS employees held a local resident accountable after her 13-year-old son was spotted on the street at night. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. During a patrol on Pervomayskaya Street, police noticed a solitary teenager. It turned out that the schoolboy was walking without adults during the curfew. Law enforcement identified him and took him home, handing him over to his mother with a receipt.

      An administrative protocol was drawn up against the woman for improper performance of parental duties.
