All participants are aged 14 to 16. The best among them will go on an Arctic expedition to the North Pole aboard the nuclear icebreaker "50 Years of Victory." Nizhny Novgorod region will be represented in the final by Evgeny Bogdashov from Zavolzhye and Evgeny Shishkin from Nizhny Novgorod. A total of six teenagers from the Volga Federal District reached the final. During the selection process, each participant presented before the jury and then participated in an intellectual tournament. In the semifinals, the performances of the participants were dedicated to Russia's advanced scientific achievements in the field of atomic technologies. The semifinalists' performances were evaluated by a professional jury, which included specialists from the atomic industry, regional government, educational, and youth organizations.

      The final will take place in Moscow at the end of June. It will be held in the form of debates. A total of 48 teenagers from across the country will participate in the final.
