Students from the Nizhny Novgorod region have become ambassadors of the project.

      The "Competence Centers" project of the presidential platform "Russia – a Land of Opportunities" has completed the formation of the 2026 ambassador team. It includes 60 students from 42 regions of Russia, including two representatives from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The project is being implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children." The ambassadors will promote youth and socially significant initiatives and unite efforts for their implementation. Unlike the classic competitive selection, partner universities independently nominated leaders from among students who have already proven themselves in the project. To be included in the team, participants had to submit an application and confirm their achievements. From the Nizhny Novgorod region, the ambassadors are first-year student Anna Kuznetsova from the Higher School of Translation at Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University (NGLU) named after N.A. Dobrolyubov and third-year student Ekaterina Vlasova from the National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University (NGTU) named after N.I. Lobachevsky. Anna Kuznetsova actively participates in the university's public life and represents NGLU at various level projects. In 2025, she participated in the Nizhny Novgorod Student Award "Molodets," the III All-Russian Forum of Ambassadors of Opportunities in Russia in Tyumen, the "Your Move" forum, the World Youth Festival camp, the "Student of the Year" award, and other events. That same year, she became the winner of the "Rosmolodezh. Grants: Microgrants" competition and implemented the project "Urban School of Ambassadors of Opportunities in Russia," as well as participated in the "Career Marathon" project. In 2026, Anna Kuznetsova became a participant in the Day of Russian Science at the "Russia" center, the fifth season of the "Leaders of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" project, the internship program in the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and other events. Ekaterina Vlasova also actively participates in university and youth initiatives. In 2026, ambassadors will be able to choose one of three areas of work: "Project Voice" — speaking at forums and conferences; "Event Master" — organizing events and working with grant initiatives; "Face in the Network" — creating and promoting content on the project's social media. For active participation, points will be awarded under the development program "Another Business," which can be exchanged for prizes. Leaders of the ranking will be eligible for trips across the country and participation in federal events as speakers and experts. The most active ambassadors will participate in the educational forum "Biryusa" in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from July 23 to 27 and in the regional ambassador camp in the Tyumen region in the fall of 2026. Interaction with the "Profdevelopment" project of the presidential platform "Russia – a Land of Opportunities" will allow participants to receive personalized recommendations, access to training courses, and invitations to internships based on their profiles.
