      On June 19, 2026, at 09:41, Society: More than 1.42 billion rubles have been allocated for social payments to medical workers in the Nizhny Novgorod region since the beginning of the year. This was reported by the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia. Monthly support is received by over 19,500 medical workers in the region. The amount of the payment varies from 4,500 to 50,000 rubles. The sum depends on the category of the specialist, the type of medical organization, and the amount of time worked. Maximum payments are provided for doctors in district and outpatient hospitals, polyclinics, and other primary care institutions located in settlements with a population of up to 50,000 people—up to 50,000 rubles. Average medical staff in such areas can expect an amount of up to 30,000 rubles. For doctors working in cities and settlements with a population of 50,000 to 100,000 people, the payment amount is 29,000 rubles, and for average medical personnel, it is 13,000 rubles. Medical workers do not need to apply for the funds. Medical institutions independently send electronic registers of employees to the SFR branch in the Nizhny Novgorod region. After the information is received, payments are assigned within seven working days.
