      On June 26, 2026, the federal stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair "Work of Russia. Time for Opportunities" will take place in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Events will be held from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at several venues, including 11 branches of the Nizhny Novgorod Employment Center "Work of Russia." In Nizhny Novgorod, the central venues will be the "School 21" campus from Sberbank (Turgeneva St., 30), the Youth Career Center of the Nizhny Novgorod region "KUPNO.START" (Rozhdestvenskaya St., 17), and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region (Nesterova St., 31). The fair is held as part of the national project "Personnel," which has been implemented since 2025 by order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The event will bring together job seekers and employers—from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to the largest corporations in the country. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, more than 330 companies from key sectors of the economy will participate in the federal stage: IT, machine engineering, radio electronics, metallurgy, chemical industry, agriculture, transport, and logistics. Job seekers will be offered over 18,100 vacancies. As noted by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yegor Polyakov, the fair is also aimed at youth and career orientation, as well as at forming the personnel potential of the region. The Minister of Demography and Human Capital Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Igor Pantyukhin, reported that the program has been formed taking into account the requests of different audiences: youth, women returning to work after maternity leave, people with disabilities, and participants in the special military operation. Participants will have access to professional testing, assistance in resume writing, and retraining opportunities. For youth, career orientation games, career development training, and selection for educational programs at "School 21," where citizens over 18 can acquire IT skills for free, will be organized. For schoolchildren in grades 5-11, an interactive program "Festival of Professions" will take place at the "KUPNO.START" venue from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring regional colleges, a session on "Professions of the Future," and master classes. Additional formats for teenagers are planned in municipalities, including in Uren with the participation of the Mentoring Center for Teenagers "Hooligan House." As part of the business program, a meeting of the Employers' Club "Effective Personnel Service" will be held at the "School 21" campus, and a strategic session for leading employers, educational organizations, and social partners of the region will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Special attention will be paid to targeted support. Consultation platforms on employment and social adaptation issues will be opened for participants of the special military operation and people with disabilities. A separate location dedicated to support measures will be organized for women and families. A mini-office of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund will open at the flagship office of the Kstovo branch of the Employment Center "Work of Russia."

      According to the organizers, about 10,000 residents attended the regional stage of the fair in April, and more than 2,000 people received job offers directly at the venue.
