      June 17, 2026 17:42 Society The Nizhny Novgorod credit organization has been held administratively liable for violating the requirements of legislation when recovering overdue debts. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the region. Three residents of Nizhny Novgorod complained about the actions of the creditor. The applicants pointed to illegal interactions in the debt collection process. It was established that the financial organization, acting without a written agreement on a different frequency of interaction with the debtor, exceeded the permissible number of phone calls. This had a psychological impact on the clients. Following an unscheduled inspection, the supervisory authority's employees drew up protocols for administrative offenses under part 1 of Article 14.57 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the requirements of legislation on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals in the course of activities for the recovery of overdue debts).
