More than 70 blows: the investigation into the attempted murder in Sarov has been completed.

      On June 15, 2026, at 15:41, Incidents In Sarov, the investigation into the criminal case against two local residents accused of attempted murder committed by a group of individuals for hooligan motives has been completed. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the investigation, on March 14, 2025, the accused were in a store on Moskovskaya Street. Using a minor pretext, they unreasonably inflicted more than 70 blows with their hands and feet to a man's head and torso, after which they fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance. Thanks to this, the man survived. The suspects were detained in a short time by the employees of the Investigative Committee together with operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the closed administrative-territorial formation of Sarov. By court decision, during the investigation, the men were placed under house arrest. Investigators have gathered sufficient evidence.
