The "Travel!" launched the award "More than a journey"

      On June 12, as part of Youth Day at the International Tourism Forum "Travel!", the launch of the All-Russian Award "More than a Journey" took place. The program of Rosmolodyozh is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children." The start of the award was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and the head of Rosmolodyozh Grigory Gurov during an interactive plenary session titled "Who Wants to Become a Traveler?". Together with last year's winners, they signed a commemorative ticket and gave advice to future nominees. The application period will last until July 15 on the website bol'shechempremiya.rf. Winners will be determined based on expert evaluation and public voting. Last year, more than 7,700 applications were submitted for the award from all 89 regions of Russia, with 450 experts evaluating the works. According to the "Generation Index" study, 88% of young people prefer domestic tourism over international travel. The award aims to support the best practices in youth tourism and spread successful experiences in the regions. Applications can be submitted by travel companies, tour guides, media content creators, organizers of hikes and youth events, as well as regional teams developing travel in Russia among children and youth. The plenary session featured Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova and Governor of Smolensk Region Vasily Anokhin. The moderator was TV presenter and stand-up comedian Yevgeny Chebatkov. There was also a performance by Stas More, who performed the compositions "I Love" and "Dream Journey." On the same day, the winners of the "Unity of the Peoples of Russia" project joined one-day civic-patriotic and socially beneficial routes. About 5,000 schoolchildren and directors' advisors on education from all 89 regions participated in the trips. The project is timed to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by the President of Russia. The organizer of the competitive selection is the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosdetcentr" with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

      During the forum, excursions organized by the "Guides of Meanings. Tour Guides" community are expected to be utilized by more than 2,500 people.
