      Activists of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" are holding a series of intellectual games titled "Traveling Across Russia" in Nizhny Novgorod on the eve of Russia Day. The project aims to expand students' knowledge about the history, achievements, and heroes of the country. At Lyceum No. 180 in Nizhny Novgorod, participants in the game included students from the school camp. Teams answered questions from three thematic blocks: "In the Footsteps of History," "What We Are Proud Of," and "Victories in Faces." In the first block, students recalled key events that influenced the development of the state. The second block was dedicated to the achievements of Russian scientists, inventors, and explorers. In the final part, participants spoke about heroes whose feats and merits have entered the history of Russia. The questions covered topics from the creation of the first locomotives and great geographical discoveries to space exploration and the feats of defenders of the Fatherland. According to Maria Samodelkina, the head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the "Volunteers of Victory," such intellectual games help students view the history and achievements of the country in a new light, promote teamwork, and foster a sense of belonging to the history of the Fatherland.
