      June 12, 2026 15:49 Incidents The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has issued a number of instructions regarding the criminal case related to the violation of the rights of residents of an emergency house in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the agency. A resident of the region contacted the Information Center of the Investigative Committee. She spoke about the situation with the apartment building on Chapayev Street in the village of Neklyudovo. The building, constructed in 1917, is in an uninhabitable condition. Its ceilings and load-bearing structures are collapsing, and the engineering communications are significantly worn out. The house was recognized as emergency back in 2021, but new housing has still not been provided to the people. Numerous appeals to various authorities, as the applicant claims, have yielded no results. The regional Investigative Committee has been investigating the criminal case since August 2024. Alexander Bastrykin has requested a report from the head of the regional department, Airat Akhmetshin, on the reasons for the delays in the investigation. He also instructed to expedite the work, report on the results, and the measures taken to resolve the resettlement issue. The situation has been placed under control at the central office of the Investigative Committee.
