      More than a thousand schoolchildren from the Nizhny Novgorod region are participating in the All-Russian historical game "Uniting Peoples," dedicated to Russia Day. In the municipalities of the region, the game is organized by activists from the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory." The game is dedicated to the cultural diversity of the peoples of Russia. Participants learn about the traditions, customs, and characteristics of the peoples living in the territory of the country, as well as gaining more knowledge about the history and culture of various regions of the Russian Federation. One of the venues for the event was school No. 117 in Nizhny Novgorod. Students from the school camp participated in the event. Divided into teams, they went through thematic stations: "Music," "Games," "Art Painting," "Peoples of Russia," "National Costumes," "National Cuisine," and "Folk Signs." Participants completed interactive tasks aimed at testing their knowledge of the country's cultural heritage, folk traditions, folklore, and national characteristics.

      As emphasized by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the "Volunteers of Victory," Maria Samodelkina, the game allows schoolchildren to get acquainted with the diversity of the peoples of Russia in an accessible format and to show its significance for the country.
