Kabaylo commented on the situation surrounding BC "Pari Nizhny Novgorod"
On June 10, 2026, the Minister of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Dmitry Kabailo, commented to a correspondent from IA "Nizhny Now" on the situation surrounding the basketball club "Pari Nizhny Novgorod."
Recall that earlier media reports emerged stating that the club was allegedly at risk of being removed from the VTB United League championship due to salary arrears. The regional state labor inspection took an interest in the situation.
Dmitry Kabailo noted that he currently has no information about any debts in the club. The team received a subsidy through the ANO "TSURS."
He also emphasized that understanding will come after the state inspection's check.
When asked whether an additional subsidy would be allocated to the club, Kabailo replied that this issue would be considered separately.
The official added that the past season was unsuccessful for BC "Pari Nizhny Novgorod." The ministry will look at the team's financial state and sponsors.
It is also worth noting that from 2015 to 2021, Dmitry Kabailo was the chairman of the Public Organization "Basketball Federation of Nizhny Novgorod."
