Nizhny Novgorod region will launch six new educational clusters in 2027.

This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin on his Max channel. According to him, educational-production centers are being created to train personnel for the social sphere, fuel and energy complex, shipbuilding, agriculture, and radio-electronic industry. In addition, based on the selection results, a center for pedagogical competencies and a medical cluster will open in the region. The pedagogical cluster will train specialists in preschool education and primary school teachers, including experts in corrective pedagogy. The clinical and preventive medicine cluster will focus on training general practitioners, laboratory technicians, dentists, and nurses. In the fuel and energy sector, one of the key profiles will be the maintenance and operation of electrical and thermal power stations. The shipbuilding cluster will provide conditions for training in nine in-demand specialties. The agricultural center will specialize in the processing of agricultural products. Gleb Nikitin emphasized that training qualified personnel capable of ensuring sustainable development and technological sovereignty of the country is one of the tasks of the national project "Youth and Children" and the People's Program of "United Russia." He also thanked the Ministry of Education of Russia for supporting the region and for the high assessment of its work, noting that this will elevate the system of secondary vocational education to a new level.
