In addition, seven all-terrain vehicles intended for off-road movement and camouflage nets made by volunteers will be handed over to the military personnel. "By Russia Day, the cargo will be delivered to the military units where our fellow Nizhny Novgorod residents serve, so that they and their combat comrades from other regions know: Nizhny Novgorod region is with them, the whole country is with them," emphasized Tatyana Druzhinina. Soldiers from military units in the Nizhny Novgorod region participated in the dispatch of the humanitarian convoy. According to a fighter with the call sign "Sapyor," military personnel constantly feel the support of the region's residents. He noted that it is especially important on the front lines to know that the fighters are remembered and believed in, as this strengthens their fighting spirit and gives them strength. Humanitarian aid will be delivered to 16 military units located in the Belgorod, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. Part of the cargo will be sent to a military hospital. As reported by the organizers, the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, together with the House of National Unity, has sent more than 790 humanitarian convoys to the special military operation zone. The head of the House of National Unity, Sergey Fyodorov, stated that since the beginning of the special military operation, the region has been regularly supporting military personnel. According to him, based on requests from military units, the coordination center and the regional government have already delivered over 5.2 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo and more than 340 vehicles to the fighters. "By sending another humanitarian convoy in anticipation of the main state holiday - Russia Day, we want our military personnel on the front lines to feel and know: we are proud of each of them and believe in our victory," said Sergey Fyodorov. The coordination center for supporting military personnel, mobilized individuals, and their families was established in October 2022 at the House of National Unity. It operates on the principle of interagency cooperation and unites government bodies, institutions, large enterprises, entrepreneurs, public organizations, and volunteer groups to provide comprehensive support to military personnel and their families.
