Traffic will be restricted from June 3 on two important sections of Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 2, 2026, 21:14 Society Traffic will be restricted starting June 3 on two sections in the Soviet and Kanavinsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod. According to the city transport department, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane in each direction on Studencheskaya Street near house No. 13 (turn from Gagarin Avenue to the former bus station). The restrictions will be in effect until the completion of construction and installation work on engineering networks (approximately until June 16).

      Traffic will also be partially restricted at the intersection of Chkalov and October Revolution streets. This is related to the replacement of tram tracks. It will not be possible to drive straight on October Revolution Street towards Obukhova Street. In other directions, traffic will remain fully open, but the roadway will be narrowed.

      It was previously reported that starting June 3, the reconstruction of tram tracks at the intersection of Ivlieva and Suslova streets (Soviet district) will begin.
