Nizhny Novgorod families of participants in the Special Military Operation visited the dolphinarium.

On June 3, 2026, at 14:42 Society A trip to the dolphinarium for the families of participants in the Special Military Operation (SMO) was organized by the coordination center for supporting military personnel and their families, operating at the House of National Unity. The event was timed to coincide with Children's Day. As noted by the center's director, Tatyana Druzhinina, organizing cultural and educational leisure activities for the families of SMO participants is an important area of work. "Almost every week we hold various events for them. For example, last week more than a hundred people attended a performance at the Youth Theater and a concert at the Philharmonic. We strive to ensure that families from different municipalities in the Nizhny Novgorod region participate in our events. With the start of the summer holidays, we organized a trip to the dolphinarium. This is not the first such trip, and each time the visit to the dolphinarium delights both children and adults. Such events help to gain a charge of positive emotions, feel our support and care," said Tatyana Druzhinina. This time, with the support of the center, 25 people visited the dolphinarium in Nizhny Novgorod—families with children from the Vadsky and Tonshaevsky districts, as well as from Pervomaisk. The bright and spectacular show program with dolphins and sea lions provided children and adults with a wealth of impressions and a good mood. Participants expressed their gratitude for the interesting event, care, and attention. "My daughters and I received an incredible charge of positivity and a sea of impressions. The children were thrilled! The show was wonderful: colorful, dynamic, and very kind. Our dad serves in the SMO; we will definitely tell him about this trip and send him the photos. Thank you for this holiday that brought us so much joy and unforgettable emotions," shared the wife of an SMO participant, Anastasia from Pervomaisk. "Thank you for your care and support, for inviting us to various events. Such trips are primarily needed by children—they communicate, learn something new and interesting, and expand their horizons," said Olga from the village of Vad, mother of two sons. We remind you that a call center operates at the coordination center for supporting military personnel and their families, where the families of fighters can seek support. The center's staff organizes free consultations with social support specialists, helps with document processing, and resolves other issues. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
