A Nizhny Novgorod sailor was found dead on a riverboat in the Kerch Strait.

      On June 1, 2026, at 18:14, Incidents: The body of a sailor from LLC "SK Alcantara," registered in Nizhny Novgorod, was found on a riverboat during its stay in the Kerch Strait. This was reported by the press service of the regional Labor Inspection. The tragedy occurred on May 28. Around 21:20, the crew members discovered a 20-year-old young man unconscious in his cabin. His colleagues reported the incident to the captain of the riverboat and attempted to resuscitate the young man, but they were unable to save him. At 22:00, the captain of the vessel recorded the sailor's death. The State Labor Inspection has initiated an investigation into the accident.
