Nizhny Novgorod residents can choose public spaces for improvement until June 12.

      May 30, 2026 19:00 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, voting continues for public spaces that will be updated in 2027 as part of the federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." There are about two weeks left until the voting ends - participation is possible until June 12. As of today, more than 260,000 residents of the region have already made their choice. Thanks to the project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment," over 750 public spaces have already been transformed in the region. For example, in 2025, a modern multifunctional space for family recreation was created in the village of Arkhangelskoye in the Shatkovsky district. A children's playground and a quiet relaxation area were established here. The territory was paved with asphalt and seamless rubber flooring, lighting was installed, benches with sunshades were set up, and a modern children's play area was created.

It became the first facility in the city updated in 2025 under the national project. Paths and a paved area were laid in the square, lawns and flowerbeds were arranged, trees and shrubs were planted, lighting was installed, and trash bins and benches were set up.

After active voting by residents, a modern sports complex with a universal field for team games, exercise equipment, a workout area, and a velodrome appeared here.

After the voting results are summarized this year, projects will be developed for the winning territories, and in 2027, work on their improvement will begin. All residents of the region over 14 years old with a verified account on the State Services portal can participate. How to vote:
