In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the acceptance of applications for "My Mentors" has begun.

      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the acceptance of applications for participation in the third season of the "My Mentors" project has begun. It is implemented by the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (KUPNO) as part of the federal party project "Women's Movement of United Russia" with the support of the regional government. The project aims to develop social project design skills among students and to create a system of social elevators for youth. Applications can be submitted as a mentee or mentor until June 28 via the link: https://clc.li/BHrSb. In 2024, the Nizhny Novgorod region was among 19 pilot subjects of the Russian Federation for the development of mentoring and was recognized as the best based on the results of its work. In 2025, a decision was made to scale the project to all regions of the country using the experience of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Over the previous seasons, more than 800 applications were received in the region. As noted by Russian Senator Olga Shchetinina, the project has become a platform for the development of youth initiatives and the preparation of future leaders. According to the project coordinator in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tatyana Druzhinina, participants will be able to gain practical experience and support from mentors. The third season will involve 50 students from higher education institutions and secondary specialized educational institutions in the region aged 18 to 35, as well as 50 mentors. Among them will be representatives of federal and regional authorities, heads of organizations in key industries, rectors of universities, entrepreneurs, and public figures. Some mentors will be selected from among the residents of the region. Over three months, participants will undergo training in three educational modules, participate in open dialogues, master classes, team-building events, charitable and patriotic actions, as well as pitching sessions. Participation in events of the leadership projects ecosystem and assistance actions for the Special Military Operation (SMO) is also planned. The outcome of the project will be the development and public defense of 50 social initiatives. The best projects will receive recommendations for implementation in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and their authors will have the opportunity to intern in the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. Finalists will enter the personnel reserve of KUPNO, and the best pairs of mentors and mentees will undergo training at the Knowledge Center "Mashuk."

      Maria Samodelkina, Vice-Rector of KUPNO and head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization "Volunteers of Victory," reported that participants will be able to implement their own projects in various fields and participate in volunteer initiatives.
